Green Distributors and Links
Locating green components is an essential part of the process of reaching full compliance with green regulations. As I have explored the world of green initiatives, I have encountered many companies offering, or planning to offer, compliant components. This page lists distributors that have taken the initiative to provide their customers with compliance information. Taking this extra step sets these distributors apart from the rest. After all, a distributor has no responsibility to ensure compliance - that rests solely with the manufacturer. Still, I think these distributors deserve recognition and support for going that extra mile.
Unlike with suppliers, I have not ranked distributors. I don't really see any value in that. Instead, I have simply noted briefly what kind of information you can find on the web site. As you might expect, the largest distributors provide the most comprehensive data and services. Of course, there are many reasons for choosing a particular distributor. Access to compliance data is one more factor to consider.
In addition, I have listed other businesses here that offer products or services that can be helpful to compliance efforts.
